Chelsea offer Kante £290,000 a week deal

Chelsea have agreed to offer N’Golo Kante a new contract valued at £290,000-per-week.

If finalised, Kante would become the highest paid player at the Stamford Bridge.

Kante has become the fan’s favourite and has been stronly linked to French side PSG which has prompted the Stamford Bridge side to increase his wages.

Although the France World Cup winner has not expressed any interest in leaving, Chelsea do not want to be taken unawares.

The midfielder was a key part of Leicester’s title-winning campaign, and then repeating his success with the Blues just one season later.

Even during tougher times in 2017/18, Kante still kept up his impressively high level of defensive midfield performances.

Eden Hazard is currently Chelsea’s best-paid player, earning £220,000-per-week.
