Chelsea set to open talks for Dortmund star ‘Next Week’ with £78m offer

Chelsea will make a move for Erling Haaland “next week” and offer £78 million, according to stunning reports.

The Premier League giants will ask for the 20-year-old Norwegian sensation ahead of a blockbuster summer transfer.

Per Pipe Sierra, the Blues will offer £78 million plus bonuses for the Borussia Dortmund superstar.

He tweeted: “EXCLUSIVE: Next week, #Chelsea will make their interest in the forward of the #BorussiaDortmund Erling Haaland (20).

“They will ask for the Norwegian offering 90M € + bonuses, to start trading.”

Haaland has been the subject of intense transfer speculation with the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United, among many others, believed to be keen on snapping him up.

The player’s agent Mino Raiola claimed his client could move to England’s top flight at the end of the season.

“It is obvious that everybody is looking at Erling as one of those potential new future stars because it’s so difficult to do what he does at his age at his level,” he told BBC.

“He will be one of the future stars of the next decade because we see that stars such as Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo and Messi are coming to an age where everyone asks themselves: ‘How long can we still enjoy them?’ So everyone is looking for the new generation.
