Chelsea striker celebrates EPL start with mystery blonde at Barcelona club

 

Chelsea striker Pedro celebrated his rare Premier League start on Saturday by partying with a mystery blonde at a Barcelona nightclub.

The 32-year-old was criticised by fans for his lacklustre display for the Blues in his side’s 2-2 away draw on Saturday ahead of a 16-day winter break.

But the out-of-favour star turned heads off the pitch hours later by dancing into a pretty blonde on the dance floor before lifting his shirt up to show off his stomach muscles and exposing the top part of his underpants in the process.

The headline-grabbing performance happened at upmarket nightspot Malalts de Festa in the Barcelona suburb of Cornella de Llobregat.

Pedro, who is divorced from teenage sweetheart Carolina Rodriguez, turned up at the club with friends around 1am on Sunday morning before leaving some four hours later.

Well-placed sources said he picked up the £3,400 drinks bill.

One witness said: “Pedro had a big smile on his face all night.

“At one point he was dancing into a pretty blonde he had his arm round moments earlier with a drink in his hand.

“Seconds later he lifted his top up for some reason and exposed his stomach and his pants.

“He also spent time talking to a brunette at the bar.

“He bumped into one of the tables at one point as he walked to the bar for a refill.

“He and his friends were in a VIP area away from the main dance floor but they certainly caused a stir.”

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard insisted earlier this month Pedro remained part of his plans but did not say whether the Spaniard would get a contract extension.

His current deal with the Blues runs out in the summer.
