Chimamkpa chasing glory with Shooting Stars

 

Former Heartland FC of Owerri star Onyemaechi Chimamkpa has revealed that he joined Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan to make positive impact.

With one win, two draws and one loss after four matches in the NPFL season, the attacking midfielder does not have any shadow of doubt that he and the Oluyole Warriors are still  on course towards making an impact at the end of the season.

Chimamkpa who won the FA Cup with the Naze Millionaires said the fans of the Oluyole Warriors were yet to see his best adding that the squad will do everything to get a decent result in Aba when they face Enyimba on Sunday.

“We have been very unlucky in the past matches this season especially against Gombe United and Lobi Stars.

“But we have finally put those setbacks behind us to get our victory against Katsina United at home

“We hope to sustain the momentum in our next games and repay all the love and support our fans have showered on us since the season started” he said.

The versatile midfielder who was Heartland’s second highest goal scorer in the NNL and made the most assists for the Owerri side hopes his experience will help Shooting Stars achieve their target this season.
