Corona Virus: Moses, Inter Milan teammates To Play Europa League Behind Closed Doors

Italian authorities have directed that the Europa League clash involving Seria A side Inter Milan and visiting Ludogorets will now be played behind closed doors this Thursday due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus in the country.

Reports indicate that Italy has the highest number of cases of the virus in Europe which prompted the government to postpone four Serie A fixtures last weekend.

Inter were due to face Sampdoria on Sunday, and it could have been the seventh appearance for Nigeria international Victor Moses’ since his transfer from Chelsea FC.

Moses and his Inter Milan teammates won the first leg of the Europa League tie against Ludogorets 2-0 and can go through to the quarter-final with a win or draw at the San Siro.

Many schools and colleges have been closed in Milan on Monday, although the local transport system is operating.

More than 600 Ludogorets fans were due to travel from Bulgaria for Thursday’s Europa League last-32 first-leg match at the San Siro.
