400 meters men’s Hurdle specialist Rilwan Alowonle on Friday qualified for the semifinal in the ongoing 2019 Athletics championship in Doha.
He competed in heat 3 of the men’s hurdles race and finished 4th in a time of 50.4.
Qatar’s Abdurama Samba won the heat in a time of 49.08 while Japan’s Takatoshe Abe and American TJ Holmes came second and third.

This is first time Alowonle will be representing the country in the Athletics Championship.
