Dolphins Basketball Club and First Bank Basketball Club (both of Lagos) yesterday maintained their perfect start at the ongoing Atlantic Conference stage of the Zenith Bank Women’s Basketball League.
Eight teams are competing for honours in Ibadan just as eight others are competing for glory in Abuja which is hosting the Savannah Conference.
After beating Delta Force &6-57 on the opening day, Dolphins yesterday defeated Sunshine Queens 81-54 to remain on course for Final 8 in Lagos.
First Bank also recorded a good start with the 101-50 score recorded against Ogun Babes and yesterday the Elephant girls defeated high-flying MFM 62-51.
In other results, Oluyole Queens defeated Ogun Babes 66-58 while Delta Force defeated Police 67-59.

Four teams each are expected to qualify in each of the two conferences to make the Final Eight billed for Lagos at a later date.
