The Nigeria Basketball Federation has finally chosen 12 players to represent the country in the 2018 FIBA Women’s World Cup holding in Spain.
Jasmine Nwajei, Adaora Elonu, Sarah Imovbioh, Sarah Ogoke, Elo Edema, Nkechi Akashili, Evelyn Akhator, Aisha Mohammed, Ezinne Kalu, Atonye Nyingifa, Cecilia Okoye, and Promise Amukamara will represent Nigeria in the 10-day tourney.
The FIBA 2018 Women’s Basketball World Cup which is currently the 18th edition will hold on September 22 to 30 in Tenerife, Spain.
The tournament comprises 16 best teams around the world with Nigeria in Group B alongside Turkey, Australia, and Argentina.
