Eagles returnee Ighalo wins West Asia recognition

Super Eagles returnee, Odion Ighalo, has been named the West Asia player of the month of October following his impressive displays for his Saudi Arabia club Al-Shabab.

Ighalo has scored nine goals in 11 league games for Al-Shabab this season, with four coming in October. The 32-year-old opened his account last month against Al-Batin FC before netting a brace against Al-Ittihad Jeddah.

He capped off an excellent month with a goal Al-Tai. These performances have not gone unnoticed with fans, who have now voted him October’s player of the month.
