Eagles star’s grandma celebrates 88th birthday anniversary
Everton of England midfielder, Alex Iwobi’s grandmother is still waxing strong and looking good for many more years to come, after the matriarch of the former Arsenal star’s father clocked 88 over the weekend.
This much was disclosed by the Super Eagles’ playmaker’s father, Chuka Iwobi, who said he is glad to still have his mother alive and wished her more years of happiness and good health to come.
While describing his half-caste mum as a shining example of what motherhood should be like, Iwobi’s father added that she is a role model that is showing the way to go for her children and others in the society to emulate.
He took to social media to reveal his thoughts and emotions on Mama Iwobi’s happy day, adding that they all love her to the greatest height, and prayed that God will continue blessing her and showing her the right path to follow.
Iwobi Snr stated in his post: “Happy 88th Birthday to Mum. You are a shining example of what motherhood is all about and a role model to all of us. May the Good Lord continue to guide, bless and keep you. We love you loads.”
