England and France dominate Blind Football European Championship group stage
Undefeated England and France are each one match away from a title showdown at the men’s Blind Football European Championship in Pescara, but defending champions Spain are out.
France topped Group A with four wins from four, overcoming Greece 1-0 today in their last group-stage match.
Free-scoring Turkey placed second in group, winning their three matches which were not against France, so also go through to the semi-finals.

Turkey beat hosts Italy 1-0 today to seal their advance and send the Azzurri to the consolation bracket.
England, with four wins from four, led Group B so await Turkey.
Germany were runners-up in Group B, seeing off Poland 4-1 today, but defending European champions Spain finished bottom without winning a game.
The semi-finals are scheduled for tomorrow in Pescara, with the final set for Friday (June 17).
