Enyimba hand returnee coach Finidi George rousing welcome

Super Eagles assistant coach and Enyimba handler Finidi George received a rousing welcome as he returned to base following the completion of AFCON assignment.

 In an impressive show of support and appreciation the players formed a guard of honour to welcome their coach and Captain  respectively after close to a month of absence as the Eagles attempted to clinch the AFCON title for the fourth time in Cote d Ivoire.

The Peoples Elephant took to their X to announce the welcome, alongside their skipper Olorunleke Ojo adding  “·It feels great having our Gaffer and Skipper back !!!

Enyimba who are third on the NPFL 20-team premiership log with 35 points in 20 matches played so far,will this Saturday be guests to Bendel Insurance of Benin.

 In their last five matches the Aba Landlord lost three matches and won two. Bendel Insurance on their part lost two matches won two and drew one. In other fixtures in the NPFL billed for Saturday, Doma Utd will take on Enugu Rangers while  Kwara United host Kastina United.
