EPL: Brighton suffer worrying loss to Sheffield United
Brighton and Hove Albion missed the chance to move 10 points clear of the relegation zone after suffering a 1-0 loss to Sheffield United on Saturday night.
Percy Tau was once again missing from the squad despite returning to training, as Graham Potter went with the tried and tested.
Sheffield had nothing but pride to play for after officially being relegated last weekend, although Jayden Bogle replaced Ethan Ampadu from the defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Brighton did all the attacking in the early stages, but it was Sheffield who broke the deadlock on 18 minutes when David McGoldrick pounced on a loose ball to fire past Robert Sanchez.
The Seagulls continued to press for an equaliser as the first went on, but they were unable to carve out a clear-cut chance as Aaron Ramsdale was barley tested.
Brighton had the ball in the back of the net just before the hour mark through Jakub Moder, but the strike was given offside by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

The visitors had a golden chance to pull in the final 15 minutes but Neil Maupay sent a first-time volley over the crossbar from six-yards out after some good work by Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
In the end, Sheffield were able to hold on for the victory which leaves Brighton in 16th spot, seven points above the drop zone.
