EPL: Chelsea boss Tuchel commends Mendy says he’s ‘Great guy very humble’

Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel, has paid tribute to goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

Former Rennes No1 Mendy returns to France with Chelsea tonight for their Champions League clash at Lille.

Tuchel said, “He is a great guy with a strong character and very humble.

“I think everyone at Chelsea, including the fans, wants him to succeed because he gives everything to the team.

“He plays a key role and we are very pleased with his development. Mendy has been exceptional since I took over at Chelsea.”
