EPL: Five substitutions will work in our favour this season, says Man Utd midfielder Eriksen

Manchester United midfielder, Christian Eriksen, has said the squad’s depth will prove crucial this season.

The Dane says five substitutes this season can work in their favour.

He said: “The whole squad is going to be really important. I think it’s a good thing that we have five substitutions. It takes some of the pressure off the players and it gives the coaches a bit more options.

“The players who have come in from the bench have done really well recently. They want to show off, as do the players who play from the start.

“It’s great, and we need everyone, because we have many games and there is a lot of quality in the team. We all have to fight for our place.”
