Wilfred Ndidi could be out for the rest of the season after he suffered a knee injury in action for his Premier League club Leicester City.
Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers said the midfielder’s injury against Rennes in a UEFA Europa Conference League clash is very serious.
“We are waiting for a second opinion on that but Wilf (Ndidi) is not so good,” Rodgers disclosed.

Whether he will play for the rest of the season, we aren’t sure.
“That’s a real shame for us.”
Ndidi has already been ruled out of 2022 World Cup playoffs against Ghana.
He has been replaced by FC Lorient midfielder Innocent Bonke.
