EPL: Newcastle launch global scouting recruitment campaign

Newcastle are looking to appoint scouts and talent spotters around the world in the coming months.

The Magpies are going through an overhaul of their scouting system under sporting director Dan Ashworth.

The club are focusing on scouts in parts of Europe, South America, and other parts of the world.

The goal for Newcastle is to find top talents before they are expensive and become more difficult to sign.

A description for one such scouting job posting reads: “You will act as an ambassador for Newcastle United in your specific region, leading on the identification and assessment of emerging talent and first team targets. Working closely with the UK based scouting coordinator and recruitment operations Manager you will recommend appropriate high-quality talent in line with club strategy and process.
