EPL: Pochettino eager to give Lukaku second Chelsea chance

Chelsea will tell Romelu Lukaku he is welcome back at the club for the new season.

The Belgium forward had a productive second half of the season with Internazionale.

Lukaku helped Inter to win the Coppa Italia and reach the Champions League final, which they lost 1-0 to Manchester City.

Per The Mail, the Blues will give Lukaku a chance to prove his worth to Mauricio Pochettino.

The forward is their only recognized striker, as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will almost certainly be gone by the time pre-season starts.

The Blues could save a lot of money if they make it work with Lukaku, rather than signing two new strikers.
