EPL: Ronaldo wins over Man City fans after badge gesture

Manchester United striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, has won praise from Manchester City fans for his actions before Sunday’s derby kickoff.

Ronaldo was left on the bench as United were thrashed 6-3 at the Etihad.

Video footage has since emerged of the United forward, who nearly signed for City last season before he returned to Old Trafford, showing him side-stepping the home club’s badge on the carpet near to the players’ entrance as the visitors walked into the stadium.
