Etebo pulls out of Eagles, Brazil friendly at last minute
Nigeria and Stoke City midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has withdrawn from this Sunday’s friendly against Brazil at the National Stadium in Singapore.
No reason was given for the player’s sudden withdrawal in a statement issued by the Nigeria Football Federation on Thursday.
The statement also said there won’t be any replacement for the player.
Head coach, Gernot Rohr had already replaced defender Kenneth Omeruo with Tyronne Ebuehi, while Efosa Solomon-Otabor joined the camp following France –based Samuel Kalu’s unavailability.

Meanwhile, 21 players trained today for the match which kicks off at 1 pm Nigeria time.
