Europe’s biggest clubs haven’t dropped their interest in Barcelona captain Lionel Messi.

While Messi has withdrawn his transfer demand and committed to the new season, talks over a contract extension are yet to commence.

As such, Messi can still commit to a pre-contract with a European rival from January 1 ahead of leaving Barca for nothing next summer.
