Everton defender, Ben Godfrey, is amazed by the intensity of assistant manager Duncan Ferguson.
Godfrey was speaking with Rio Ferdinand’s Youtube channel.
He revealed, “I’ve only had one kiss-off him and that was this weekend – I’ll accept it, it was a big day [the Merseyside derby win at Anfield].

“He is mad, I don’t know how to describe him. How he was as a player, is how he is now. He’s just 100mph at everything – whether it’s a passing drill or he’s saying hello to you in the morning.
“It’s just like, everything he does is massive! But he’s a good character to have around and he expects high standards. So, not only is he a good guy but he makes sure things are right on the pitch – he’s a good coach.
“The boss is chill, relaxed but Dunc would scream at you if something isn’t right – his head will go a little bit. You need that balance though, he’s good to have around.
“I’d never met him before I came to Everton so I didn’t know what he was like, but I have a lot of time for him.”
