Ex-Chelsea star Abraham becomes ‘father of many goals’ with Roma

Former Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham, has established a new goalscoring record with Roma.

According to The Daily Star,  after scoring a brace against Empoli on Sunday, Roma striker Tammy Abraham is now the highest scoring English player in a single season in the three points per win era of the Serie A.

The striker only moved to the Stadio Olimpico side in the summer in a deal worth £36million but has flourished in Italy.

Abraham has scored 10 goals so far this season – more than any other English player has ever achieved in the competition – and if he continues in the same rich vein of form then he will continue to boost his record.

Since reuniting with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, the England international has been instilled with confidence and is showing why so many Blues fans were disappointed to see the academy product leave the club before the start of the campaign.
