Ex-Golden Eaglets Captain Samson Tijani Moves To Austrian Giant

To secure more playing time, former Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets captain Samson Tijani has sealed a loan move to the Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The skilful midfielder joined RB Salzburg in 2020 but he has been on loan to TSV Hartberg and Liefering since then.

He returned to his parent club last season but failed to play a single game for Salzburg due to an injury he sustained during a preseason game against Borussia Dortmund.

Salzburg announced his departure to Wolfsberger via its social media handle on Wednesday and wished him well.
