Ex-Inter Milan star Joel Obi joins Serie A new team Salernitina
Super Eagles midfielder Joel Obi has joined newly-promoted Serie a club Salernitina as a free agent.
According to scorenigeria, the Nigeria star has signed a year’s deal with an option for a further year.
The contract of the 30-year-old Obi was not renewed by Serie B club Chievo Verona.

Obi, who hold Italian citizenship, has been capped 17 times by Nigeria.
His previous clubs include Inter Milan, Parma and Torino.
He also enjoyed a short stint at Turkish club Alanyaspor.
