Liverpool hero, John Arne Riise, has said Champions League qualification ‘is a must’ or the club risks “disaster”.
Winning the Champions League could present their best chance of qualifying for next season’s tournament and Riise has warned of a catastrophe if they fail to do so.
“The main target for the league now is a Champions League spot,” said the Anfield hero to the Mirror.

“They need to get that, it’s so important and it will be a disaster if they don’t.
“For a team who won the league last year and played some of the best football in Europe, not to qualify for the Champions League is going to be a disaster for the club.
“I still think they are going to manage to do it in the end. But the way they’re playing now, it looks difficult.
