Ex-Super Eagles Striker Builds Incredible Hospital In Imo State

Former Super Eagles of Nigeria and  FC Cape Town striker, Emmanuel Emenike, has built an incredible hospital in his home-town in Nigeria.

Emenike, who has been without a club since 2019, is said to have had a medical centre constructed in Owerri, Imo State.

It remains unclear as to when the 33-year-old’s luxury hospital will be open, but news of his plans to build one first came to light in December 2018.

A report from OmaSports in January suggested that the hospital could begin business soon, after a friend of the former Fenerbahce forward shared a video on Instagram congratulating Emenike on using his wealth to help people back in his home country.

The striker joined now-defunct Black Aces in 2008 from Delta Force in Nigeria, before joining another club that has since been sold, FC Cape Town, a year later.

He then took his career to Turkey, where he represented Kardemir Karabukspor and Fenerbahce, before moves to Spartak Moscow in Russia and Al-Ain in United Arab Emirates.

Emenike was lured to the Premier League by West Ham United in 2016, and has since had spells at Olympiacos, Las Palmas and KVC Westerlo.
