Falcons’ goalie Nnadozie celebrates birthday, counts blessing

Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie was in a super party move today (December 8) as she celebrated her birthday.  The Paris FC  safehand who is currently hoping to be named CAF Women goalkeeper of the year after making the last three standing took to her X handle to celebrate her day and equally thank God for his grace.”Happy birthday to me. Tough year bigger God. Lord I thank you for standing in the gap for me , I return all the glory to your holy name 🙏”she enthused beamed with smiles.  The former U-17 and 20 ace has so far made 22 appearances for the senior national team since joining them in 2018.

Recall she was called to the senior national team at the age of 19, to compete at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. As Nigeria’s starting goalkeeper in the team’s 2–0 victory over Korea, Nnadozie became the youngest goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet at the World Cup. Her confidence level has continued to increase for both club and country.

 She boasts of over 62 appearances for her french division one club side Paris FC she joine in 2020 from Rivers Angels.

Super Falcons only few days back qualified for the next Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) to be hosted by Morocco after beating Cape Verde home and away progressing on 7-1 aggregate.

 The team continues to wax strong despite the uncertainty surrounding the whereabout and readiness of the team head coach Randy Waldrum.
