Falcons ready for Bayana

Super Falcons Captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, Ashleigh Plumptre, goalkeeper, Linda Jiwuaku and defender Jumoke Alani were the early birds in the Super Falcons camp as the four players arrived Abuja on Sunday.

Bafana Bafana of South Africa will slug it with Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the first leg of last round of the 2024 Olympic qualifier at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja on Friday.

Meanwhile, young defender, Shukurat Oladipo, France based goalkeeper, Tochukwu Oluehi, Japan-based Chidinma Okeke and Spain based forward, Monday Gift are expected to arrive in Abuja today (Monday). The rest of the squad will join the team on Tuesday while African Best Player, Asisat Oshoala joins the team on Thursday.

Having failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in the last three editions, the Super Falcons are ready to go all out, defeat South Africa, pick the ticket and qualify as one of the two African representatives in the women’s football event at the 2024 Olympic Games in France.
