FIFA Ranking: Eagles conquerors Ghana least ranked in Qatar
Still nothing to cheer about for Super Eagles as the José Peseiro led side dropped one step in FIFA ranking released on Thursday. Eagles who missed a chance to qualify for the forthcoming World Cup in Qatar, dropped from 31st to 32nd position.
Ironically Ghana who brushed the Eagles aside to earn world Cup ticket are heading into the Mundial as the least ranked nation on 61st position in the world.
In Africa Nigeria is placed 4th behind world cup bound number one and Nations Cup Champions Senegal, Morocco 2nd and Tunisia 3rd. Eagles poor runs in recent times in fact since crashing out of the World Cup is understandably reason for the poor ranking .

Aside from struggling with Algeria Team B in a friendly match that ended 2-2, the Eagles equally lost 2-1 to the senior team in Oran. Brazil who head to the world cup as number one on the log recently left no one in doubt they are in serious business of preparation when they thrashed both Ghana and Tunisia 3-0 and 5-1 respectively. The Samba boys will be chasing a 6th title in Qatar.
