FIFA World Cup 2022 schedule: Dates and times in which Mexico will play in Qatar

Despite the fact that the 2022 World Cup in Qatar is still a few weeks away, it feels like it is just around the corner. The draw not only made Mexico aware of its first-round opponents, but it also indicated the Aztec team’s possible path in the competition.

After a journey that had more complications than expected, the team led by Gerardo Tata Martino had to wait until the last date of the Concacaf Octagonal final to secure their ticket to the Middle East.

From November 21 to December 18, a total of 64 games will be played in order to determine the next World Champion. In Qatar 2022, 32 teams will compete in eight groups of four, with the best two from each sector earning a spot in the direct elimination rounds, beginning with the Round of 16.
