Former Chelsea defender warns City to watch their defence ahead Liverpool cracker
Former Chelsea right back, Mario Melchiot claims Manchester City could be punished by Liverpool if they expose their defence ahead of Sunday’s premier league cracker at Anfield.
City are fourth behind the current premier league leaders after Leicester and Chelsea victories today.
However Melchiot reckons Liverpool can take more risks than City on Sunday due to their lead over the visitors.
“Anfield is for everybody the same thing, right?” Melchiot told Premier League Productions.
“When you turn up and the fans get behind them and just the historical side of that club, it affects everybody.

“It doesn’t matter what kind of player you are, you know what you’re turning up and that team is going to be ready.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds side are yet to taste defeat in the league this season as they vie for their first top-flight title since 1990.
