Formula 1 WAGs formidable and equal to the task

 

Very often it is the WAGs of footballers that dominate the scene and arrests most of the headlines. That of course does not mean the WAGs of other sports personalities does not exist, and that of Formula 1 are not exempted.

The 2022 Formula 1 season is just around the corner, despite memories of Max Verstappen’s controversial last-lap victory in the desert still being fresh.

But with the off-season has come a chance for drivers to catch with loved ones.

Or start new relationships, as is the case for McLaren’s Lando Norris  who has confirmed the Portuguese fashion model Luisinha Oliveira.

Norris and Oliveira confirmed their relationship on Instagram on Tuesday in what was described as the ‘cutest Instagram post ever’ She thus joins top ten of the formula 1 WAGs that will thrill in the new year.

Mercedes new boy George Russell is currently dating investment banker Carmen Montero.

Montero, like Russell, is from England, and she graduated from the University of Westminster with a Bachelor’s degree in business management and finance.

Max Verstappen was victorious and with partner  Kelly Piquet is no doubt hot. Kelly Piquet is a Brazilian national despite being born in Germany, and she is the daughter of three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet.

Piquet earned fame as an international model, before moving onto journalism in Formula E before she met Max Verstappen. Certainly the WAGs of formula 1 are equal to the challenge.
