Lille forward, Victor Osimhen is one of the nominees for the French Ligue 1 player of the month for September after a good start into the new season.

Osimhen has scored seven league goals for Lille will battle Algerian and Monaco forward, Islam Slimani, and Nantes’ Nicolas Pallois.

He was on target in Lille 2-1 win against Angers SCO and the 2-0 victory at home to Strasbourg.

Only on Sunday, the 20-year-old was named Lille Player of the month for September on Sunday

Slimani has scored four goals in six appearances for Monaco.

Pallois, a defender who is a teammate of Nigeria defender, Moses Simon at Nantes, played a key role in the club’s surge to the second position in the table.

Fans have until midnight on Saturday to vote for their choice player for the award.
