Fulham plan big for Adarabioyo

Fulham are making huge attempts to tie down central defender Tosin Adarabioyo to a new deal but are doubtful that he will put pen to paper despite a proposal to make him the highest paid player at the club.

Several Premier League clubs are monitoring the situation of the homegrown player ahead of the reopening of the transfer window.

Fulham and Tosin have not yet reached an agreement on a new deal, with roughly two months remaining before the expiration of his contract with the London club.

This website can report with certainty that Tosin has not completely dismissed the idea of extending his stay with the Cottagers, as long as the new offer meets his requirements and financial considerations are not the primary factor.

On a sporting level, Tosin wants to play for a club where he is guaranteed playing time, rather than being a bit-part player elsewhere.

Fulham are preparing a new long-term deal for the 26-year-old and hope to persuade him to stay with a significant increase in his wages.

Tosin has remained professional despite speculation surrounding his future with a string of excellent displays, helping the Craven Cottage outfit post three clean sheets in their last seven Premier League matches, all of which he started.

It is confirmed that the Manchester City academy graduate has not been directly approached by any Premier League club regarding signing a preliminary contract.

However, the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United have been in touch with the player’s camp to explore the possibility of signing him on a free transfer.

Since landing at Fulham from boyhood club Manchester City in 2020, Tosin has made 131 all-competition appearances, scoring five goals while producing two assists.
