Funfare as Haaland plays with group of kids in Costa del Sol

Manchester City new boy Erling Haaland has been filmed having a kickabout with kids while soaking up the sun in Marbella.

Haaland has been enjoying his final days on the Costa del Sol before he links up with his new team-mates. The Norwegian was filmed enjoying knocking the ball around with a group of local kids – who bumped into Haaland on the beach.

Haaland joined the group of lads on the seafront as he kept the ball up performing ‘keepie uppies’ with the boys. And fans have loved the interaction with Haaland being labelled ‘down to earth’ by viewers.

Haaland will join up with his new teammates for the first time next month – with City expected to recall their stars in early July.

The Blues will then embark on a pre-season tour of the USA, where Haaland could make his unofficial debut against Club America in Houston or Bayern Munich in Wisconsin. However, his competitive debut will probably come in the Community Shield.

“I have always watched City and have loved doing so in recent seasons. You can’t help but admire their style of play, it’s exciting and they create a lot of chances, which is perfect for a player like me.

“There are so many world-class players in this squad and Pep [Guardiola] is one of the greatest managers of all-time, so I believe I am in the right place to fulfil my ambitions.”
