Fiorentina and Gennaro Gattuso could announce the split already, as their respective lawyers are working on a consensual way out.

RAI Toscana claims the two parties’ lawyers are working to part ways consensually, following previous reports from SportItalia and Sky Sport Italia about growing tension at the club between Gattuso, President Rocco Commisso and Club Manager Giancarlo Antognoni.
The quarrel started with the transfer market assessments made by the club relating to the proposed players of agent Jorge Mendes, who is also the representative of Gattuso.
Fiorentina reportedly want to make smaller investments than the profiles the new coach asks for and the parties failed to find a solution.
Gattuso’s contract with Fiorentina was never deposited and now won’t be, as Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports his work in Florence is already over.
