Give us two months to decide on Osimhen–Napoli Sporting Director pleads

Seria A side, Napoli needs two months to decide if it will sign Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen,  the club’s sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has said.

Giuntoli told Sky Sports Italia that the club needs to be guided in signing a striker following reports that they could lose Polish star Arkadiusz Milik in the summer.

With the possible departure of Milik, Napoli has been on the lookout for a capable replacement with Osimhen, Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic, Zenit St Petersburg’s Sardar Azmoun and Gremio’s Everton Soares all penciled.

“Purchases from Italy or from abroad? I don’t know we have to see what the situation of these players will be like in two months. We must calmly do the right steps.”

“Azmoun, Osimhen, Jovic? They are very talented, it is difficult to bring them to Napoli because they are very sought after. Everton? He is another very good footballer,” said Giuntoli.
