Sportinglife.ng scooped in Saint Petersburg that FIFA’s query was based on media reports on the
internet detailing how an aggrieved faction stormed the Glasshouse based on a court order secured in a
Jos High Court asking the group to function as legitimate board members of the NFF.

But feelers from FIFA’s office in Russia suggested that the owners of the game are not comfortable with
the fact that some of those in the group that stormed the Glasshouse in Abuja on Monday are presently
serving various terms of sanctions which have not been revoked, making them unqualified to relate with
FIFA on football matters, when the issues concern Nigeria.

It was further gathered that the FIFA query had pictures of members of the aggrieved faction holding a
media session inside the Glasshouse in Abuja, an act which the FIFA men want their Nigerian
counterparts to authenticate the veracity of what was widely reported in the media on Monday and indeed
Tuesday.

Already, the NFF disciplinary committee is set to invite those not under the FIFA ban that participated
in the Monday session to explain their action or face sanctions as specified by FIFA for such unholy
alliances.
