Uruguay dominated proceedings, but Dries Arfaoui’s reflexes frustrated Matias Abaldo, Juan de los Santos, Fabricio Diaz and Luciano Rodriguez. Just when the keeper’s efforts looked to have secured a point, Raed Bouchniba was penalised for a handball in the box and Gonzalez tucked home the resulting penalty.
