Hammers delighted to extend Moyes contract

West Ham management has resolved to extend David Moyes contract.

The veteran manager will reportedly put pen to paper on a new long-term deal with West Ham this summer.

The Scotsman still has 18 months to run on his current contract.

But with the Hammers in the hunt for a European spot this season, the Mirror says Moyes will be handed the keys to London Stadium for the long-term.

West Ham’s board wants Moyes to be able to focus on changing the perception of the club, rather than watching his back with an expiring contract.

He will now be given multiple transfer windows to shape the squad in his own vision.
