Hazard: It was not my intention to offend Real Madrid fans

Eden Hazard apologised on Thursday after seeing the scenes which saw Real Madrid fans angry with him following the elimination at the hands of Chelsea.

The Belgian was seen laughing and joking with his former Chelsea teammates, something which did not go down well with Real Madrid supporters.

Almost 24 hours after the game, the attacker apologised via an Instagram story: “I have read lots of opinions about me today and it was not my intention to offend the Real Madrid fans.”
