Hon. Osoba made this pledge when he led members of his committee on oversight function to inspect the facilities at the Moshood Abiola Stadium yesterday. He also solicited for support from the private sector and declared that the government are strained because of many programs and projects from other areas of need
it has to deliver on.

“The 2020 budget has already been made and budgetary allocations have been made too. We will as a Committee look through the allocation and see where we can actually help out in providing more funds to be able to maintain our monuments at our stadia around the country.

“A lot of money was spent to actually put this place (Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja) up and I believe we need to involve the private sector.

“The government is already strained and the private sector needs to come in and support the government.
