How security stopped pitch invader who was after Liverpool star Salah

A pitch invader was escorted off the field at Anfield after he was intercepted by stewards when making his way to Mohamed Salah.

The Reds put Southampton to the sword on Saturday afternoon as Jurgen Klopp’s side hit the Saints for four.

However, after the match, a Liverpool fan ran onto the field to greet Salah, while appearing to film the superstar.

The man wasn’t able to get that close to the Egyptian, however, as stewards intercepted his attempts to meet Salah.

Meanwhile, Salah looked relaxed at the situation but also annoyed at the man as he pointed back towards the stands.
