Hudson-Odoi returns to Chelsea from England U21 camp

Callum Hudson-Odoi has been sent back to Chelsea from the England U21s squad.

Hudson-Odoi played England’s first group match of the European Championships, a 1-0 loss to Switzerland last week.

But the winger missed the 2-0 defeat to Portugal after injuring his shoulder in training and will also miss the final group game against Croatia.

Arsenal playmaker Smith Rowe is also in doubt to face the Vatreni.

He said on Tuesday: “Callum is definitely out and he has gone back to his club, Emile Smith-Rowe is also very doubtful.”
