I am proud to represent Denmark 

Sheffield United’s first team forward William Osula says he is delighted to represent Scandinavian giants Denmark at international level. 

Born in Aarhus to a Danish mother and a Nigerian father, Osula also qualifies to represent the Nigerian national teams.

He became provisionally cap-tied to his country of birth after making an appearance off the bench in a European Championship qualifier against Lithuania in June 2023.

At the age of 20, Osula has played several games in the Premier League for the Blades, eighteen in total, and netted in back-to-back FA Cup games this season. 

“I am proud and happy that I can wear the shirt and represent Denmark. It is really great to be part of the national team,” Osula said.

On Tuesday evening, Osula will be aiming to score his second international goal for Denmark U21s when they take on Lithuania at Vejle Stadium.
