I have not got my World Cup cash, Super Falcon cries out
An unnamed Super Falcons player has raised alarm that she has yet to receive the $60,000 (more than 72 Million Naira) that she won for featuring at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Each Super Falcons player is guaranteed a prize money of $60,000 after they reached the knockout round of 16 at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

There has been widespread apprehension that the NFF will shortchange the players as their money is routed through them by FIFA.
Journalist Osasu Obayiuwana reported on X that one of players has got across to him that she has yet to get her own cash.
“Update: A member of the #FIFAWWC @NGSuper_Falcons has just messaged me to say that she has not received her $60k payment yet,” Obayiuwana reported.
“I hope the @thenff will not play any games with their money and pay it to them soon.
“I will be keeping an eye on this, as I have long said”.
The journalist has already confirmed that all the teams at the World Cup have been paid through their respective federations.
