ICC T20 Women’s Qualifier: Nigeria’s female Yellow Greens pitch in Group A

Draws for the International Cricket Council T20 Women’s World Cup qualifier have been released and Nigeria’s female Yellow Greens have been paired in Group A, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The men’s version of the qualifier was played last week in Windhoek, Namibia and it was a tournament to forget for the Yellow Greens as they could only win one game against Tanzania.

According to the draw conducted, female Yellow Greens have been grouped alongside Rwanda, Namibia and the host Uganda.

Group B consist of Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya and Botswana.

The qualifiers will take place from the 7th – 18th, 2023 in Kampala, Uganda.

The Women’s World Cup will take place in Bangladesh in September 2024.
