Ighalo nets brace in Al Shabab trouncing of Al Wehda FC

Former Nigerian international, Odion Ighalo, ended the season on a high as he scored a brace in Al Shabab 3-0 trouncing of Al Wehda FC on Sunday.

The 31-year old was on target in the 54th and 90th minute of the Saudi Arabian premier league final game of the campaign.

With these two more goals, the former Manchester United striker ended his first season in Saudi Arabia with nine league goals.

Portuguese forward Fábio Martins scored the first goal of the game for Al Shabab inside the opening seventh minute.

Ighalo and his teammates finished second on the table with 57 points from 30 matches, four points behind winners Al Hilal who clinched the title with 61 points.
