Nigeria international, Odion Ighalo will be handed a starting shirt against Manchester City in Sunday’s derby at the Old Trafford.

Odion Ighalo and Manchester City

The Nigerian would be hoping to open his Premier League account and will have the much-needed boost of confidence after scoring 3 goals in his last 3 games.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has led his team brilliantly in the last couple of months as the Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 10 games across all competitions.

However, this will be a stern test for them as they face a City side that has recently beaten La Liga giants Real Madrid.

Nothing but a win would ensure United keep their hopes of Champions League qualification alive.

On the other hand, Pep Guardiola would be hoping to take three points against Manchester United after losing twice in three games to the same opponents this season.

Solskjaer would be worried as some of his key players including Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are doubtful for the game as they didn’t feature in midweek. Daniel James is also doubtful for the game.
